(2) Continue through Ridgefield Parkway. (3) Take a left at Quioccasin/Gayton Road. (4) Byrd Middle School is about 2/10 of a mile on your left, just across from the Farmington Sub-Division. ********************************** Glen Allen - 0 Kanawha - 19 Congratulations to the Pee Wee Varsity team for a great performance against Glen Allen. They won the game 19-0, and everyone contributed to the victory. Adam Hade got the first big play of the game with an interception on Glen Allen’s first play from scrimmage. Elijah Weaver then scored from 50+ yards behind great blocking from Will Clevinger, Tee August and Will Gerndt. With the defense back on the field, Colin Lovings, Taylor Merritt, Drake Penicook and Mason Muterspaugh helped shut the Glen Allen offense down again. The Kanawha offense then had to grind out some tough yards, but they broke another big play when QB Timmy McGinley ran a bootleg around the left end for a long touchdown. Glen Allen’s offense was able to get a couple of first downs towards the end of the half, but Colin Beebe, Wesley Dugger, Dylan Dobalo, Brett Reid and Gabe Nuckols all made big plays to keep the score at 12-0 going into halftime. In the second half, the defense remained stout behind great play from Tripp Smallwood, Colby King, James Wall, and Najee Lawrence. When the offense came back onto the field, Keyron Turner took over running behind strong blocking from Justin Spencer, Lucas Aparacio, Dylan Heisler, Christopher Betcher and Parker Mason. Keyron scored the final touchdown of the game, and Wesley Dugger added the extra point with a tough run up the middle. In the final minutes, Kyle Pendleton led the offense and got 2 key first downs with good runs from Colin Beebe and Adam Hade, and the game was secured.
