WELCOME TO THE UPCOMING 2008 FOOTBALL SEASON!! HEAD COACH: JOHN AARON john@nats.us ASST. COACH: Derek Spangler Steve Parrott Eric Hutchinson John Dunford Jeff Deschon The agenda for Homecoming is as follows: Wednesday, October 15 - regular practice for all teams until 7:15; association wide pep rally at 7:15. Saturday, October 18 - we are trying to put together some half time games. One thing we are considering is raffling tickets for players and cheerleaders for a chance to hit their coach or coaches with a "pie" in the face. Players could put their name and the name of the coach they wish to pie on a ticket and names will be drawn at halftime of each game. We attempted to do more halftime games last year such as a punt, pass, and kick competition among other things but the halftimes are so short that it is very hard to accomplish anything. If anyone has any ideas for events, games, etc. that can be done in less than 8 minutes we are open to suggestions! Other events for the day-we will have the big grill outside and will be cooking chicken breasts and sausages in addition to our normal concessions offerings. We may need a few extra hands on the big grill so any parents are welcome to help! We will also have cotton candy and pucker powder available during the day and may also need a few volunteers to help man those machines throughout the day. Saturday night - we will have our Post Game Tailgate/Celebration. Kanawha will provide barbeque, fried chicken, and hotdogs and we ask that football players provide a side dish and cheerleaders provide a dessert. Each family will need to bring their own drinks and lawn chairs. This gets better and better every year. In addition to the great food we will have amusements from Bounce to the Moon and the 2nd Annual Coaches Flag Football Game.
